It’s not really chicken soup, it’s a series of inspirational books that people can read. They have Chicken Soup for the Friendship Souls, Chicken Soup For the Scrapbookers Soul, Chicken Soup for the Dietry Souls and more. I fell in love with these books when i saw my sister reading the Chicken Soup for the Friendship Soul years ago. I thought it would be nice to read real life stories about real problems people have and relate to yours.
The authors are Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen who are the #1 New York Times and USA Today best-selling authors of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. Patty Hansen and Irene Dunlap coauthored Chicken Soup for the Kid’s Soul, one of the most successful Chicken Soup titles. It was awarded the 1999 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice for “Favorite Book of the Year.”
A month ago, Aunty Rose and family and us, went to go shopping at Orchard. We stopped at Kinokuniya to see some books and i was soo thrilled to see a whole lot of Chicken Soup series on the shelf. I spent almost an hour there, reading and trying to find the book that i want to buy. Suddenly i came across a book called Chicken Soup for the Girl’s Soul. It’s a book about preeteen girls who are going through the changes in their lives. 9 - 14 year old readers will find that they are not alone in the dealing with the growing up process that other girls have shared their stories in the book. 
Other chapters cover tough subjects like divorce, peer pressure to use drugs and alchohol, and dealing with death for the first time,as well as fun “girls only” stories about body changes and first crushes. This book is sure to be what a girl wants!

hello beings. It has been another post here on my blog and i’m writting this in the dark. the only light to my keyboard is the moniter screen. So, its raining now, and the air is cool and fresh. I woke up by the sound of banging doors, *looks up* NEIGHBOURS. Hmm, its a saturday and thank god!! Finally i can wake up late after sahur.
Talking about sahur, and puasa, i hope this year i can have a full and happy fasting. I mean i’m getting used to it, and hopefully i will for the next 27 days. (: Well, i also wish to complete all my homeworks today, and maybe revise tomorrow for my EYE. End year exams are starting on next next Tues, which is 25th. The first day i’ll have English paper and my Malay paper 1. btw, those of my classmates who lost the timetable, please get them from someone and PLEASE copy it down and DON’T lose it. You are basically torturing yourself. kkay?
Make up lessons for the DReamweaver Workshop. Next Tuesday and Thursday. Why can’t they just cancel the stupid workshop? We finished our projects anyway!Oh wait, we payed money for this. Okay, you’ll be confused. This workshop is to help us for our project, that is to make a NEWSLETTER. And when we all turned up for the workshop, they teach us how to make blogs. Like, The effects, hotspots whatever shiaat, linking pages*well that’s kinda useful but nothing to do with a newsletter!* Our project of newsletter is suppose to be printed out, like duh. So i don’t really understand why this workshop is ‘helping’ us for our newsletter project. But anyway, some of us made our own blog. but that is still not helpful. *think think*.

A week ago, 7/9/07, a friend of mine passed away. I was terrified when i heard the news from my best friend. I almost couldn’t believe what i heard.
He was hospitalised since Febuary this year. I only get to see him once, that is in the Sec 1 Orientation Camp. I still can remember his small body and his face clearly. I did not have a chance to talk to him, but i know he’s a good guy.
Although the whole class did not know him very well, everyone felt sad. I felt sad too. I realised i had lost a friend.
He suffered from Cancer, in the liver. Its very rare for children to get it there, especially for someone my own age.
I didn’t get a chance to attend his wake last saturday. The principle, VPs and my from teacher went there. “Eventually everyone cried” said my friend. Eventhough i didn’t make it, i really missed him. I hope he’ll be safe somewhere out there, high above from us. Looking down and say “my friends cared for me.” And we do.

Hello people. Well, this is one of my first few attempts of blogging, and i chose to blog on this one. If everythings all in a mess, forgive me. IMMA NEWBIE. =P So i’m in a bloggy mood now, so.. i’m gunna BLOG. about STUFF. ummyea.
So now i’m currently studying in Boon Lay Secondary and its okay. Well, what else should i say about it. I can’t believe it has been almost a freakin year! I look back on the first time i stepped onto the soil of BLSS ( Boon Lay Secondary) in the Sec 1 Orientation. I was in my Juying Primary uniform and the pinafore was practically SHORT. so yea. And now its September. SEPTEMBER. Like wattahell.
EEgghhh i hate projects. They suck. It sucks if the group members are awfully uncooporative and restless. I was soo stressed out in the first and second term of this year that i need to go counselling! Oh well, that wus old news.
It’s 13 september, the first day of Puasa. And its 9.00 pm. And i’m like “woooh finally i can drink something.”
